After breaking up with her long-time boyfriend, she faced the reality of being single, quite unhealthy and miserable, and obviously overweight. Her typical day before her successful weight loss consists of convenient food full of preservatives and additives like bags of chips, pre-packed sandwiches, white bread and pasta, and a lot of alcohol. Now, depending on her schedule and whether she had training, porridge with blueberries, poached eggs with spinach, drinking a lot of green tea, and two to three liters of water a day is her typical nourishment.
Vicky shared on her weight loss story that to stick to a healthy balanced lifestyle, you have to have everything in moderation, if high protein and low carbs work for you, then fair enough. Do not cut out of your diet entirely those drinks or food you enjoy because then your body will miserable and crave for it. The worst possible thing for you is binging.
Sam has lost an astonishing forty-two pounds over the last year. His secret? Sam very quickly credited his weight loss to nutritional therapist Amelia Freer for his “changed life.” He shared that he cut dairy, gluten, and refined sugar out of his diet completely, took up yoga to hone his frame, and weight training.
Amelia Freer shared in her book, ‘Eat. Nourish. Glow.’: “Eat as though you are invited to dine with your future parents-in-law.” Of which Sam added, “It’s not about weight loss, it’s about being happy in yourself.”
